One of the world’s most spectacular startup festivals, Slush 2021, took place in Helsinki on December 1-2. Mentor feedback carousel is an important part of the Starter Tartu programme. During the meetings held from 20 to 30 October, mentors gave student teams feedback and recommendations to develop their ideas. This semester, 19 student teams received feedback on their idea. The ideas were varied, including ideas on saving food, animal care and investing.

The 5 hour Hackathon was on Zoom and participants could listen to an interesting seminar, present their ideas, and find teammates. 15 ambitious teams were selected on the 10 of December at Kaleidoskoop pre-selection to present their ideas at Kaleidoskoop Final and at Delta X Finals. One of the biggest students’ pitching competition Kaleidoskoop pre-selection took place for the 15th time and brought together 30 teams from different fields and locations such as Tartu, Pärnu, Narva.
